JOB DESCRIPTION
Sort and process recyclable materials, including paper, cardboard, plastics, and metals, to ensure proper segregation and recycling.
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the recycling process, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.
Ensure that all recycling activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to company standards for hygiene and safety.
Assist with the loading and unloading of recyclable materials and ensure they are stored correctly.
REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a recycling or waste management environment is preferred but not essential.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to recycling operations.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
